Nothing overrides free will. Readings provide you with a deeper look into the seen and unseen truth about your situation to help you discern where to go from here. 

There are different "spreads" that offer guidance on different topics. Simple spreads are quicker and offer more acute advice, where more complex spreads offer a wider view of the querent's question.
